We pair underserved elementary students with college-aged mentors to develop literacy and a love of learning.
Students Expanding American Literacy (SEAL) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and collegiate service organization. We recruit and train passionate college students to become literacy tutors, mentors, and advocates.
SEAL volunteers read and play with small groups of elementary students every week.
We aim to instill confidence and curiosity in both college and elementary students.
